| The Marlborough region is becoming renown for being a superior "lifestyle region" in which to live, work and play. Marlborough is New Zealand's largest wine growing region and is famous for Sauvignon Blanc and the stunning Marlborough Sounds - a haven for fishing, boating, diving, kayaking, tramping or cruising. And if the pristine Marlborough environment isn't enough to keep you feeling great, the region is also alive with culture and activities. The event scene is becoming very lively thanks to a number of flagship events such as the Wine Festival, the Mussel Festival, the Classic Fighters Air Show, Hunters Garden Marlborough as well as a raft of smaller local happenings. The Art scene is alive with several galleries around town and throughout the wineries, as well as affordable performing arts in theatre, music and dance. Being a small town affords a fantastic family lifestyle, with all of the after school activities and extra-mural sporting, cultural, musical, and arts opportunities available in the cities - all within five minutes drive! Marlborough has a population of around 42000 people, with around 27000 of those living in and around Blenheim, Marlborough's main township. Blenheim is tucked away in the north east corner of the South Island of New Zealand. We are 20 minutes by air from the capital city Wellington, 1.5hrs drive from Nelson or Kaikoura in the opposite direction. | ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | ![]() ![]() Photos by | |
